Today we went to the Museo del Traje and the Rastro Market. In the morning, after breakfast, we went the Museo del Traje (literally meaning “Museum of the Suit”). Along the way we passed through the Parque del Oeste, a giant park that includes sports fields that are open to the public. They had two soccer stadiums, two sand volleyball courts, a track, football field, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a pool.
In the Museum we saw the highlights of fashion development throughout the years as well as some religious outfits. It was very interesting. We then took the subway to the Rastro market. It is a huge area of booths set up selling everything from souvenirs to furniture to clothes. We looked around and then got lunch on the patio of a small restaurant. We then meandered our way home, had dinner, and went to bed.
